Looks like the sign of things to come, as Chester City who have been struggling since their relegation to the Conference, now find themselves suspended from the league for 7 days.
It came to a head when players refused to play against Forest Green having not been paid. Then the game this Saturday against Wrexham was forced to be postponed after the local authority issued a prohibition notice on the Deva Stadium after police refused to man the game over an unpaid bill.
Are we likely to see this further up the leagues, most notable at moment are Portsmouth, Cardiff and Notts County. They are all facing action from HMRC over unpaid tax bills.
Who will be the first big club to go and is this the start of the football bubble bursting ?
