Milan could be without striker Alexandre Pato for the second leg of the last 16 tie at Old Trafford. Marco Boriello played against Roma on Saturday however and could come in for Pato against United on Wednesday.

Likely line ups:

United: Van der Sar, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Gibson, Scholes, Valencia, Berbatov, Park

Bench: Foster, Neville, Evans/Brown, Fabio, Nani, Obertan, Diouf

Milan: Dida, Bonera, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Antonini, Seedorf, Pirlo, Ambrosini, Boriello, Huntelaar, Ronaldinho

Bench: Abbiati, Kaladze, Favalli, Beckham, Gattuso, Pato, Inzaghi

Striker Alexandre Pato has been included in AC Milan's 22-man squad to face Manchester United on Wednesday.

The Rossoneri travel to Old Trafford trailing 3-2 from the first leg of their UEFA Champions League last-16 meeting.

AC Milan will need to win by two clear goals to progress outright or match United's result from the San Siro to force extra-time in Manchester.

Their chances of overturning the first-leg deficit have been boosted by the news that the Brazil international could face Sir Alex Ferguson's men.

Pato missed their goalless draw with Roma on Saturday with a hamstring strain, but has recovered enough for Leonardo to include him in his travelling squad.

The 20-year-old has been in superb form for Milan this season, scoring 12 goals in Serie A and two in the Champions League.
